At Foundation for Youth development, we are particular about development of individuals, communities and society in general.
We believe that for societies to move forward, the underlying dynamics (Governance and policies) that stall development need to be addressed. This is the reason for our embarking on several projects.
Communications & Public Affairs Division
- General public affairs and communication matters
- Public Advocacy
- Conduct of Thematic seminars and workshops, eg: Youth empowerment,
- Environmental sustainability, Women empowerment, SMES.
- Linkage with relevant national organisations
- Linkage with diplomatic missions, international development agencies
such as: USAID, DFID, UNDP, UN, UNIPO etc. - Thematic seminars and workshops
Research and Documentation Division
- Conduct of Research and Commission of papers.
- Monitoring and Evaluation of projects and programmes.
- Impact Assessment
- Mentoring on new and existing entrepreneurs
- Assistance on business plan development
- Registration of business
- Information on access to start-up capital
The FYD Centre is established to carry out activities of the organization, it will
also serve as a resource Centre for the youths:
- Access to internet and provide library services.
- Venue for workshops and seminars
- Referrals to tertiary and bursary institutions
- Recreational and entertainment courts
Laboratories.
